SET FOR LIFE WINNER SEEKS SUN
December 24, 2008
Richmond, B.C. – A 52-year-old Victoria woman is now "Set For Life" after winning the top prize on a lucky scratch & win ticket.
"What a nice way to start the holidays," said Margaret Marshall, who matched three winning symbols on her Set For Life ticket to earn the top prize of $1000 each week for 25 years.
"I usually buy Set For Life tickets as birthday presents," said the retired Marshall. "I'm sure glad I happened to keep this one for myself. It still hasn't really sunk in that I've won."
The winning ticket was purchased at Shoppers Drug Mart in Esquimalt.
The avid golfer is now planning to hit the links in sunny Hawaii sometime next year.
