(Madison) — Eugene Coe of Pickett recently won $1,000 playing the Wisconsin Lottery’s $5 “Monte Carlo” instant scratch game.
The game offers four different casino style games on each ticket: roulette, slots, dice and blackjack. Each game is played separately and players can win up to 16 times on each ticket. The game’s top cash prize is $50,000.
Coe purchased his winning “Monte Carlo” ticket at Kwik Trip, 215 W. 20th Ave. in Oshkosh.
For selling that winning ticket Kwik Trip earns a $20 commission from the Wisconsin Lottery. Lottery retailers who sell winning tickets with prizes of $600 or more earn the equivalent of 2% of the prize, up to a maximum commission of $100,000 per ticket.
