PETERSBURG WOMAN SEES THE WINNING NUMBERS ON TV – AND WINS $52,000

Nancy Hardy of Petersburg was watching CBS-6 television one morning when the previous night’s Win For Life drawing was replayed. As she wrote down the winning numbers, she began to get excited. “Those look like my numbers,” she thought.
As it turns out, her ticket matched five of the first six numbers plus the Free Ball number to win $52,000 in the September 24, 2008, Win For Life drawing. She immediately called family members and said, “I did it!”
Ms. Hardy purchased the ticket at All Nations Food Market, located at 1740 West Washington Street in Petersburg.
The winning numbers for that drawing were 3-4-6-19-39-42 and the Free Ball number was 11. Ms. Hardy selected the numbers on her ticket using numbers given to her by her sister.
Win For Life offers a top prize of $1,000 per week for the life of the winner. Drawings are held Wednesday and Saturday nights at 11:00.
