EDMOND MAN'S PERSISTENCE PAYS OFF
September 17, 2008
OKLAHOMA CITY – Robert Roesler of Edmond never misses a Powerball draw and his persistence paid off with a win of $400,000. Now he plans to take his winnings and hit the road in a new car.
A longtime Lottery player, Roesler doesn’t have a favorite location to buy from and he just happened to buy his winning ticket at the Memorial City Mart at 13636 N. Bryant in Oklahoma City. That’s great news for the retailer since the Oklahoma Lottery began its retailer bonus program. The Memorial City Mart will receive $5,000 for selling the winning ticket.
“I was in shock when I looked at the numbers in the Sunday paper so I looked online, too,” said Roesler. He got his numbers through Easy Pick.
