After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent, James will receive a check for $13,032.72.

He purchased the winning Electric 8’s instant ticket from Circle K, 311 Maplewood Avenue in Struthers. Electric 8’s costs $2. The game began selling 2/29/08.
