Harry Rubuliak is one lucky guy! In mid-August, the Edmonton, Alberta resident won $1 million on a MEGA JACKPOT SCRATCH ’N WIN ticket. It was a doubly shocking experience for Harry, since he’d won $10,000 on the same game just four months ago!
On August 13th, Harry stopped at Dovercourt Esso at 13410-118 Avenue in Edmonton, on his way to pick up his wife from work. “I noticed that they only had two MEGA JACKPOT tickets left in their display, so I bought both of them,” Harry said, admitting a fondness for the $10 ticket since his major win in April.
“When we got home, my wife laid down for an afternoon siesta and I decided to scratch the tickets.” He scratched the first ticket slowly. “I saw one $1 million symbol, then the second one. When the third one came out - I couldn’t believe my eyes!”
The happy top prize winner said he intends to pay off his mortgage, help his kids and buy a new vehicle.
“Winning the first time was nice,” Harry said, “but this time certainly tops that!”
