A LOTTO 6/49 WINNER SHARES HIS PRIZE WITH NINE CLOSE RELATIVES

Montréal – Montrealer Pierre Hogue won $1,875,986 at the August 20th draw of Lotto 6/49 with a jackpot of $3,751,973. Mr. Hogue (at centre of photo) has been playing the same combinations since Lotto 6/49 began. Over the years, he had won some secondary prizes but nothing close to the jackpot! He said he remained very calm when he learned of his win on television. Mr. Hogue came to collect his cheque with several close relatives. In fact, he plans to share the winnings with them!
The lucky ticket was purchased from Marché Perras, located at 5051 Perras Street in Montréal. The retailer will receive a commission of $18,759, equal to 1% of the prize.
