NOW YOU SEE IT - NOW YOU DON’T
September 1, 2008

Mary Gergel of Grants Pass was “kind of” watching the Keno monitor as she played 20 consecutive eight-spot Keno games at Romar’s Sports Bar & Grill, in Merlin. “I was busy, but I caught some of the numbers popping up on the monitor,” she said.

Mary saw some of the winning numbers during the sixth game she played, but didn’t see all of them. After the game, she noticed the eight-spot Keno Rolling Jackpot Bonus had been won. “I thought, ‘Darn, someone hit the jackpot.’”

A close look at all the winning numbers revealed to Mary that it was she who had matched all eight numbers on her eight-spot ticket, and won a $51,761 prize. “Just couldn’t believe it.”

Mary’s prize started with $15,000 for matching all eight of her numbers. Added to that was a $36,757 eight-spot Rolling Jackpot Bonus. Winning $4 from two other games on her 20-game ticket gave Mary her $51,761 prize.
