DEXTER CITY MAN CLAIMS MULTIPLE WINNINGS

ATHENS – An 18-year-old pizza delivery worker is a winner in many ways. Michael W. Brown won $12,100 after having one multi-draw ticket and two other tickets worth $750 in cash on the 8-19 Mega Millions game. The multi-draw ticket had five different number combinations, each yielding a prize amount. Brown won $150 for having four set of numbers that had four of the winning numbers drawn. The other set of numbers had four winning numbers and the Mega ball that won him another $10,000.
After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent, Brown of Dexter City will receive a check for $7,314 for the multi-draw ticket. He said that he would use his windfall to pay for his college education.
He purchased the winning ticket from Singer Sunoco, 17010 McConnellsville Road in Caldwell. He used auto lotto. The winning numbers were 9-18-19-26-40. The mega ball number was 38.
