MILLION DOLLAR WINNER CLAIMS PRIZE
September 3, 2008
CINCINNATI - A Clermont County resident had to make a big decision after winning a $1,000,000 top prize on an Ohio Lottery instant game. Diana S. Kiser of Bethel decided to accept the prize in annuity payments, $50,000 a year for the next twenty years instead of a lump sum.
After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent, Kiser will receive $34,500 annually.
Kiser purchased the winning ticket from Speedway #1183, 51 W. Main Street in Amelia. Speedway receives a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
