$220,000 MONTANA CASH JACKPOT CLAIMED

Douglas Jensen of Roscoe claimed a $220,000 Montana Cash jackpot prize from Montana Lottery headquarters this afternoon. Jensen bought his winning ticket from Rowlis Food Farm in Joliet for the August 20 drawing.
Jensen didn’t immediately check his Lotto tickets, but saw an article in the Billings Gazette on August 22 and decided to check his numbers. “I was at my sister’s house and checked my numbers from the Thursday paper,” Jensen said.
When asked if he had any plans for the money, Jensen said, “I’ll probably save some money and use some for home repairs.”
“This is the fifth highest jackpot ever won for Montana Cash, and is the third time $220,000 has been claimed,” stated Montana Lottery Director George Parisot.
There is still a $460,095 Wild Card jackpot prize from the July 16 drawing that has not been claimed. That ticket was sold at RD's Party Shop in Butte. The winner has until January 16 to claim this jackpot.
