SALISBURY MAN WINS TOP LOTTERY PRIZE
August 28, 2008
James “Jim” Rogers, Salisbury, is planning to enjoy having no more bills after winning the $77,000 top prize in the Missouri Lottery’s “Ruby Red 7’s” Scratchers game. Rogers, 52, bought his winning ticket on Aug. 25, at Mike’s, 600 W. U.S. Highway 24 in Salisbury.
Rogers, a boilermaker, plans to use his prize money to purchase a Harley-Davidson and to pay off all of his bills.
“That will feel great,” Rogers said of having everything paid off.
