LOTTERY OFFICES IN SOUTH LOUISIANA TO CLOSE TUESDAY; DRAWINGS WILL OCCUR
August 31, 2008
The Louisiana Lottery Corporation's offices in Baton Rouge, New Orleans and Lafayette will be closed on Tuesday, Sept. 2 so that employees may safely respond to Hurricane Gustav. Drawings for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday are scheduled to take place as planned.

At this time, offices are scheduled to reopen on Wednesday, Sept. 3, barring any complications due to the weather. The Louisiana Lottery strongly encourages its employees, retailers and players to make necessary preparations now and to follow the direction of civil authorities to ensure the welfare of themselves and their families during this time of emergency.
