INDIANAPOLIS – Robert Gladstein of Monrovia had the day off today so he drove to Scottsburg to get a haircut and visit his son. While in the town, he also decided to stop at a gas station to pick up some Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off tickets. He chose $500,000 Riches, winning $100,000.
“I used to live in Scottsburg,” he said. “I knew the clerk. She suggested I buy number 15 [the $500,000 Riches Slot].”
Gladstein, who works for K-COM Environmental, purchased his winning ticket from Scottsburg Motomart at 890 West McClain in Scottsburg.
He plans to pay bills and invest some of his winnings. He also plans to share with his wife.
“My 11th wedding anniversary is Sunday,” he said. “I’m going to get my wife a nice present.”
