INDIANAPOLIS – James Simmons of Indianapolis woke up feeling lucky this morning, so he decided to purchase a few Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off tickets. This decision resulted in a $100,000 win on the Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off game Cash Crop.
“I started shivering and shaking a little bit,” he said, describing how he felt when he realized he had won. “I didn’t want to believe it, but it was right in front of me so I had to believe it.”
Simmons purchased his winning Cash Crop ticket from Village Pantry at 6014 East Washington Street in Indianapolis.
He plans to put his winning in the bank.
“I never thought I would be here [at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters],” he said. “I always wanted to.”
