COLUMBIA FALLS RESIDENT WINS $1000

Jenny Ramsey of Columbia Falls had a nice surprise last week, when she scratched off one of four tickets she bought and discovered one was worth $1,000. “This is cool,” said Ramsey. “They were all One-Dollar tickets, and the third one I scratched was the big winner!”
Ramsey brought her winning ticket to Helena today. She and her friend Marcy were doing school shopping for Marcy’s children, and decided to take an extra long trip to Helena. “I wasn’t sure about mailing the ticket. I thought it might take a long time to get the money.” Jenny was reassured to hear that it usually takes less than a week to get paid when winners mail their tickets. “That’s fast!” she commented.
Jenny plans on spending some of the money on school supplies for Marcy’s children, “something extra,” and also on new clothes. “I figured since this was extra money, I’d do something fun with it,” she said.
Jenny bought her ticket at Smith’s Food & Drug in Columbia Falls. Her win was on a game called Kit Kash, and $1,000 is the top prize in that game.
