Kevin Cannon of Maple Grove claimed a $248,186 Gopher 5® jackpot at the Lottery’s headquarters in Roseville on Aug. 11.
Cannon saw the winning numbers printed in the newspaper on Sunday and thought that they seemed “close” to the ones on his ticket. He then compared the numbers to his ticket and saw that they were more than close. The fourth line on Cannon’s five-line quick-pick ticket matched all five numbers drawn on Aug. 8 (10-12-31-32-38) to win the $248,186 jackpot.
Rainbow Foods, located at 4190 Vinewood Lane in Plymouth, sold the winning ticket.
