LEONARD WOMAN "SHOCKED" WITH WIN

LANSING - Carolyn Kennedy told Lottery officials that after she read of her $10,000 Mega Millions win, she was "shocked"!

The 47-year-old housewife matched four white ball numbers and the gold Mega ball number to win the prize. She plans to use the money to pay bills.

Kennedy purchased the lucky easy pick ticket at Speedway #2322, 57050 Van Dyke Rd., in Washington.

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington. Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at nearly 11,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
