SUMMER VACATION MAKES CALIFORNIA WOMAN A MILLIONAIRE

Jenny Serhal’s summer vacation to Massachusetts turned huge dividends for her when she won a $4 million grand prize on the Max A Million game from the Massachusetts State Lottery. Serhal of Covina, Ca. was in the Bay State visiting friends when she bought the new $10 instant ticket.
Serhal, pictured here with Executive Director Mark Cavanagh, received her first of 20 annuity payments for $200,000 before taxes today at Lottery headquarters in Braintree.
She bought the lucky ticket at Energy To Go in East Boston. The store will receive a $40,000 bonus on the sale.
Max A Million, a new $10 instant game, features eight grand prizes of $4 million and 25 grand prizes of $1 million. Overall, there are nearly 14 million winning tickets in the game.
