NEW HAMPSHIRE PLAYER SCORES $1 MILLION ON RED SOX TICKET

Dean M. Banks of Salem, N.H. became the 12th player to win $1 million on the wildly popular Boston Red Sox Limited Edition instant ticket.
Since its release on the market in April, players have bought more than 5.3 million of the $20 tickets.
Banks, pictured here with Executive Director Mark Cavanagh, received his first of 20 annuity checks for $50,000 before taxes today at Lottery headquarters in Braintree.
Banks bought the lucky ticket at the 7-Eleven on Causeway Street in Boston. The store will receive a $10,000 commission on the sale.
Players will win more than $160 million during the life of the game. Overall, there are more than 3.3 million winning tickets in the game.
