FORT DODGE WOMAN WINS $20,000

DES MOINES, Iowa – A central Iowa woman won an “extremely” large sum of money playing an Iowa Lottery scratch game!
Diann Brueschke of Fort Dodge won $20,000 playing the “Extreme Green” instant-scratch game. She purchased the winning ticket at B&L’s Drive Thru, 902 S. 22nd St. in Fort Dodge.
Brueschke claimed her prize at the Iowa Lottery’s regional office in Storm Lake.
Extreme Green is a $2 scratch game. Players try to match any of “their numbers” to either of the “winning numbers” to win the prize shown for that number. If the player finds a “5X” symbol, he or she wins five times that prize. The overall odds of winning in the game are 1 in 3.95.
Brueschke claimed the third top prize in the game. Seven top prizes of $20,000 are still up for grabs in the game, as well as about 115 prizes of $250.
