ATLANTA – A Riverdale man is taking the driver's seat with his lottery win. Anthony McCoy, 40, won a signature motorcycle and truck from playing the Georgia Lottery instant game Harley-Davidson Rides & Riches.
McCoy won a 2008 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy 105th Anniversary Edition motorcycle and a 2008 105th Anniversary Ford Harley-Davidson F-150 truck.
"I've always wanted a prize like this," he exclaimed.
Both prizes were awarded Friday. McCoy purchased the winning ticket at Texaco Food Mart, 126 Valley Hill Road in Riverdale.
The father of seven recalled scratching the ticket outside in the rain. He was in awe.
"I stood in the rain, and I just looked at it," he said.
A heavy equipment operator in the construction field, McCoy plans to use his truck for work. He and his wife, Lisa, also look forward to taking courses to learn to ride his new motorcycle.
"I don't know how, but I'm ready to learn," he said.
