LOTO-QUÉBEC, A PROUD CONTRIBUTOR TO THE 21ST EDITION OF THE GATINEAU HOT-AIR BALLOON FESTIVAL

Gatineau – Loto-Québec is pleased to be a contributor to the Gatineau Hot-Air Balloon Festival for the 4th consecutive year. Under the theme Top off your summer, this colourful event will be held at the Parc de la Baie from August 29th to September 1st, 2008. Visitors will be amazed by the quality and diversity of some 300 shows and blown away at the sight of majestic hot air balloons taking flight.
Festival-goers are invited to Loto-Québec’s stage where an eclectic program promises lots of interesting things to see. Among many other activities, they will have an opportunity to dance to African rhythms with Percussimo, enjoy listening to the country music of Pier Béland’s new Telle que je suis show, go down memory lane with the highlights of the movie Grease, and much more! In addition, the Terrasse Loto-Québec will comfortably welcome visitors who would like to watch shows on Molson Dry's Main Stage. Also, the Casino du Lac-Leamy's AeroClub will provide a VIP rest area offering a great view of the flight pad for the many giant hot air balloons, including Loto-Québec’s ship! Throughout the four days of festivities, visitors may also experience Probabilitron, a fun initiative from Rendez-vous Loto-Québec that opens a window to the mysterious world of chance.
As a perfect example of Rendez-vous Loto-Québec events, the Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival welcomes over 200,000 people every year. It has become one of Québec’s largest gatherings of campers in addition to generating significant economic spin-offs for the Outaouais Region.
