PITTSBURG MAN CLAIMS $24.6 MILLION JACKPOT

YOUNGSTOWN – A resident of Pittsburg crossed the border, becoming the Ohio Lottery’s third winner of a Classic Lotto jackpot. Frank H. Pistella won $24,600,000 after matching six numbers in the July 2, 2008 Classic Lotto drawing. He filed his claim yesterday in the Lottery’s Youngstown regional office.
Pistella chose the cash option and will receive a check for $8,487,000 after mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent. He picked the numbers. The winning numbers were 13-14-20-25-27-31.
Pistella purchased the winning ticket at Kwik King Food Stores, 953 N. 7th Street in Steubenville. Kwik King Food stores received a $1,000 bonus for selling a winning ticket.
