NEW JERSEY SELLS TWO WINNING $250,000 TICKETS AS MEGA MILLIONS ROLLS TO $45 MILLION

TRENTON, NJ – Two lucky New Jersey Lottery players have won the Mega Millions second prize of $250,000 for the Tuesday, August 5 drawing. Both of the winning tickets were sold in Middlesex County . The first winning ticket was purchased at 7-11 #11452, located at 2477 Woodbridge Avenue in Edison . The other lucky ticket was sold at Krauszer's, located at 49 Main Street in East Brunswick.
“Congratulations to 7-11 #11452 and Krauszer's ,” said the Lottery's Acting Executive Director William T. Jourdain. “ For selling these winning tickets, they will each receive a bonus check for $500. They have become two of the Lottery's most recent ‘lucky locations' overnight.”
While there was no top-prize winner, 47,718 other New Jersey players took home $183,436 in prizes ranging from $2 to $10,000, according to Jourdain.
The winning numbers for the Tuesday, August 5 drawing were: 09, 21, 36, 38, and 55 and the Gold Mega Ball number was 13. With no winner of the top prize, the Mega Millions jackpot will roll to $45,000,000 for the next drawing, which will be held on Friday, August 8 at 11:00 pm on NJN-TV –the New Jersey Network.
