Thomas Hatch of Chesterton enjoys playing Hoosier Lottery draw games and Scratch-off tickets. He has played the draw game Mix & Match since it started. Friday evening, it paid off with a $200,025 win.

He matched all five numbers on one line for $200,000 and five numbers of 15 for $25.

“I was sitting at the kitchen counter when he started jumping up and down on one foot,” said Hatch’s girlfriend Jennifer Moorhead. “He said ‘Read these numbers. Read these numbers.’”

Hatch, owner of a home building business, is not a first time Hoosier Lottery winner. Last May, he won $100,000 on a Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off ticket.

“It [business] is slow,” said Hatch. “This will come in handy.”

He purchased his winning Mix & Match ticket from Liquor Center at 6220 Melton Road in Portage.

Hatch plans to invest or save a portion of his winnings and to take a trip.

“It is a once in a lifetime event,” he said.
