LANSING - A Mega Millions ticket brought beginners luck to a Canton man! The lucky guy matched four white ball numbers and the gold Mega ball number in the July 4 drawing to win the $10,002 prize!
Corey Goers, 18, has played the Lottery for the last three months and this is his largest win to date. Even after his mom informed him of his good fortune, Goers didn't believe his win.
He plans to use the own-pick prize money to fix his truck and purchase an X Box 360.
The lucky winning ticket was purchased at Al's Beverage Warehouse, 962 S. Venoy Rd., in Westland.
