TALLAHASSEE - The Florida Lottery today announced the lucky winners of the third of eight weekly drawings in the Summer Cash™ game. One Summer Cash player won the top prize of $250,000, five players won gas for life, and 50 lucky players won gas for a year! Additionally, more than 46,500 players have won more than $1,162,500 in instant cash prizes since the game launched on Monday, June 30, 2008.

Summer Cash ticket sales continue through Tuesday, August 26, 2008, with the last drawing taking place on Wednesday, August 27. The limited-time game offers players the opportunity to win one of eight $250,000 prizes, 40 gas-for-life prizes, 400 gas-for-a-year prizes and more than 100,000 instant cash prizes of $25!

Weekly drawings are held each Wednesday during the eight-week game period for the $250,000 top prize, five gas-for-life and 40 gas-for-a-year prizes. Winning ticket information for the top prize and gas-for-life prizes from the July 23 drawing are listed below:

To date, 69 winners from the first two Summer Cash drawings have claimed their prizes.

Winning Summer Cash tickets must be validated at a Florida Lottery retailer or at a Florida Lottery office within 180 days from the date of the applicable drawing.

Additionally, more than 100,000 players will instantly win $25 cash prizes in the Summer Cash game. If a Summer Cash ticket is an instant winner, the Lottery terminal will play island music followed by, "You're a Summer Cash winner." Instant-win Summer Cash tickets will feature a "Prize Alert" symbol, and a Cash Prize Coupon will automatically print following the ticket. Cash Prize Coupons may be redeemed immediately at a Florida Lottery retailer and must be claimed by October 25, 2008.
