BIG SPIN® CONTESTANT SPINS WHEEL, WINS $1 MILLION

SACRAMENTO – Lucia Vanegas of Los Angeles was all smiles after she spun the wheel on this week’s Big Spin show. She gave the wheel a gentle spin, just clearing the required two revolutions before the ball stopped on the $1 million mark. “I was shaking all over,” Vanegas said as she stepped off the television stage. She plans to buy a house and contribute to her church. This episode of the Big Spin show aired Saturday, July 26. The grand total won this week was $1,202,500!
Keven Lang of Lawndale also played the Big Spin wheel. He first hit the “triple” slot and then on the following spin hit “$60,000” for a total prize of $180,000. He plans to soon renew his wedding vows with his wife Cindy on their 10th anniversary. Looking at his wife, Keven said with a Cheshire Cat grin, maybe now “I could buy a sports car.” Cindy replied, “First pay the bills, put a little in college funds for the kids, then have at it!”
The last big winner of the day was Celeste Charles of Bellflower. Charles played the Fantasy 5 Dream Machine and had her husband Gilbert and granddaughter Alexis in the audience. She won $70,000. Alexis said she hoped her grandmother would win enough to buy a “real barn with horses.” Grandmother Celeste plans to spoil Alexis. She said they’re going camping and are going to “do some horse trails.”
