$150,000 PRIZE IS MUSIC TO THE EARS!
July 17, 2008
NASHVILLE - A wordsmith struck speechless? Not what one would normally imagine, but that was the case with Ashland City songwriter Mark Battles when he realized that he had won $150,000 playing the instant game, Giant Jumbo Bucks. “I couldn’t believe it,” said Mark. “I just stood there with my mouth open and couldn’t say a thing.” But it wasn’t long before Mark found his voice and called his wife and daughter to join him at Lottery headquarters where he received his winning check. “I believe I’ll be writing up-tempo songs for awhile,” Mark said. We do too! Congratulations to the Battles family!
