KINGFISHER MAN WINS $20K PLAYING POWERBALL
July 22, 2008
OKLAHOMA CITY – Ronald Clough of Kingfisher won $20,000 cash playing Powerball with Power Play. He purchased his ticket at Bricks Corner Store Inc., 723 W. Broadway in Kingfisher.

Clough has been playing the lottery off and on for a year, but for the last three months he’s been buying tickets every Wednesday and Saturday. He said he buys his tickets from the same store because they are friendly and helpful.

“I watched the drawing, so I knew I had matched the Powerball number,” he said. “I wrote the numbers down and when I started checking, I realized I had matched more than just the Powerball. I had to re-check my ticket about five times.”

Clough plans on putting the money in savings.
