SEEING GREEN

COLUMBUS - Players of an Ohio Lottery on-line game and an instant game will each be seeing green in about thirty days. Barry L. Ratliff of Marion won $140,000 for matching all five numbers in the July 16 Rolling Cash 5 game. Janice O. Sheets of Waverly won $7,000 scratching Sapphire 7’s. They filed claims in the Columbus regional office.
After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent, in about thirty days, Ratliff will receive $96,600; Sheets will receive $4,830.
Ratliff picked his numbers. The winning numbers were 3-11-12-29-32. He purchased the winning ticket from Speedway, 1603 Harding Highway in Marion. Speedway receives a $500 bonus for selling a top prize winning ticket.
