CEDAR RAPIDS MAN WINS $100,000 PRIZE

DES MOINES, Iowa – A Linn County man has won a large Iowa Lottery prize!
Seventy-five-year-old Lowell Noggle of Cedar Rapids claimed the jackpot for the July 5 $100,000 Cash Game drawing. He purchased the winning ticket at Casey’s, 3434 First Ave. N.E. in Cedar Rapids and claimed his prize at the Iowa Lottery’s regional office in Cedar Rapids.
When Noggle had his winning ticket checked, the store clerk seemed more shocked than he was!
“She was a nervous wreck. She’d never seen [a winning ticket] that big before,” Noggle said. “I just didn’t believe it at first. I thought it was some kind of mistake. I thought maybe she was playing a joke on me.”
Noggle said he knows how he’ll spend his prize money.
“I’ve got some bills to pay and I’ve been thinking about doing a pre-paid funeral,” he said.
The winning numbers for the July 5 Cash Game drawing were: 2-6-13-25-31.
