SACRAMENTO – Four contestants on this week’s Big Spin show took on the Dream Machine and won big! Those four contestants won a total of $260,000. The grand total won this week was $312,500. The show aired statewide Saturday, July 12, 2008.
Mike Schaffer, a maintenance products supplier, was first up at the Dream Machine. The Stockton resident plans to pay off a number of bills with his $95,000 prize. Next up was Anusak Wong of North Hollywood who wants to buy his wife a new car with his $60,000 prize.
The other two winners who played the Fantasy 5 Dream Machine were Victor Gonzalez of Ladera Ranch and Giancarlo Franco of Colton. They won $55,000 and $50,000 respectively. Gonzalez wants to take a cruise with his wife to the Caribbean or the Panama Canal. Franco plans to pay his way through college.
The last big winner of the day was Alberto Castillo, Jr. of San Diego who beat out nine other contestants to get to the Big Spin wheel. Castillo, who will marry later this month, says he’s considering using his $30,000 prize to begin an orphanage in Tijuana.
