BIG SANDY TEACHER CLAIMS HARLEY-DAVIDSON® PRIZE

Lis Maxwell of Big Sandy is the winner of the second Harley-Davidson® 105th Anniversary Fat Boy Motorcycle. Maxwell bought her winning ticket at a Kum & Go located on East Main in Bozeman.
Lis and her husband were on their way from Kalispell to Billings. “We took our daughter to camp in Kalispell. We stopped in Bozeman and bought a Harley ticket. Then I scratched it and saw the motorcycle symbol. I think it’s fun! I never imagined winning the bike!” said Lis.
The Maxwells drove on to Billings and Lis had her ticket checked at a Holiday StationStore on 20th Street West. “We weren’t sure. The clerk told me that he thought it was a Harley winner. They were excited, too,” added Lis.
After a phone call to the Lottery Lis and her husband Frank decided to drive through Helena and claim the prize. “We just took a bigger loop to get back home.” Lis isn’t driving the bike quite yet, because there are several ownership details to work out prior to getting the bike. It is expected that Maxwell will receive the bike in the next couple weeks.
Lis’s bike is the second of four bikes that will be awarded in the Lottery’s Harley-Davidson® game. Cole Frank of Billings claimed the first bike in late April. One more bike remains in the Scratch game, and then on September 2, the Lottery will give away the fourth bike in a Second Chance Drawing.
