LAURIE CO-WORKERS WIN $4,014 KENO PRIZE

Two co-workers who play Club Keno regularly ended up winning a $4,014 prize. Kevin Holtz and Diana Counts, both of Laurie, said they play Club Keno both on their own and as a team while they work at Holtz’ and his wife’s business, Chances "R." On July 1, since it is was Holtz’ 43rd birthday, Holtz and Counts decided to combine their sets of three numbers and play a six-spot game. The played five games, and in the fourth game, they matched all six numbers and the Bulls-Eye number to win $4,014.
“We finished my birthday with a celebration,” Holtz said.
Holtz said he plans to use his prize money to do some home remodeling, which might include a pool. Counts, 47, who works as a server at Chances "R," said she is not yet sure what she will do with her share of the prize money.
