MEGA-WIN FOR BEVERLY PLAYER

Kevin J. Knight of Beverly won $400,000 in the Megabucks drawing last night when he matched all six of his numbers -- 4-5-12-19-22-25. Knight, pictured with his wife, received his first of 20 annuity checks for $20,000 before taxes today at Lottery headquarters in Braintree.

He bought the lucky ticket at the Tedeschi’s Food Store on Cabot Street in Beverly. The store will receive a $4,000 commission on the sale.

Megabucks is drawn every Wednesday and Saturday nights and aired at 11:20 p.m. on WCVB-TV Channel 5.Players select six numbers from a field of 42 numbers and win by matching at least three correctly.
