$50 GRAND IS KEY FOR BEDFORD MAN

INDIANAPOLIS - Roy Key of Bedford picked up Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off ticket Palace Treasures on Sunday because he hadn't won on it before.
"I usually like playing the new ones," said Key, referring to new Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off games that come out every three weeks. "This one was my Father's Day gift!"
Key scratched off his $50,000 winning ticket on Father's Day but waited to claim his prize today from Hoosier Lottery Headquarters because he and his wife worked earlier in the week.
The Lawrence County resident purchased his winning ticket from Speedway #5492 at 11884 US Hwy 50 West in Bedford.
"I just walked quietly out of the store and then told my wife I had something to talk to her about," said Key, after scratching off his ticket in the store.
Key plans to pay bills with his winnings.
