WINNING FANTASY 5 TICKET SOLD IN UNION CITY
June 20, 2008

SACRAMENTO – There should be a “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On” in the East Bay today as someone celebrates a winning California Lottery Fantasy 5 ticket.

The ticket was purchased at World Liquors at 34596 Alvarado Niles Road and is worth $114,679. The winning numbers are 9, 12, 27, 31 and 39.

Fantasy 5 offers some of the best odds of any California Lottery game. A player wins the Fantasy 5 jackpot simply by matching five numbers out of a field of 39. The top prize starts at $50,000 and can top $500,000 depending on how many times the top prize rolls over (similar to SuperLOTTO Plus and MEGA Millions). Winning numbers are drawn every day.
