SEDALIA COUPLE WIN $10,000 INSTANTLY

A Sedalia family is planning some summer fun after winning $10,000 playing a Missouri Lottery "Ruby Red 7’s" Scratchers ticket. Hans, 38, and Amy, 41, Tubbs purchased their winning ticket on June 9 at Break Time, 808 E. Broadway in Sedalia.
"I was just telling my wife yesterday that I wished we would win something big enough that we’d have to go to Jefferson City to claim it," Hans Tubbs said. Lottery prizes of more than $600 must be claimed in a Lottery office.
The Tubbs have four children, and their two younger children would like to go to a water park this summer with some of their parents’ prize money. Hans Tubbs also plans to use some of the money to work on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and Amy Tubbs said the family is taking a trip to Idaho in August for a family reunion.
"It will really help with that trip," said Amy Tubbs.
