FREE SHOWS ON THE LOTO-QUÉBEC STAGE AT THE MONTRÉAL INTERNATIONAL REGGAE FESTIVAL

Montréal – Partnering with the Montréal International Reggae Festival for the second consecutive year, Loto-Québec is pleased to be taking part in the fifth edition of this colourful ode to reggae music. This year’s event will be held July 11-13, 2008 in the Old Port of Montréal.
A celebration of Jamaican music par excellence, the distinctive sounds of reggae will once again be heating up summer in the city, and the Corporation is inviting festivalgoers to the Loto-Québec Stage at Place des Vestiges, where they will be treated to a number of free shows from noon to 6:00 p.m. daily. The temperature will continue to rise on the main Festival site in the evenings with some of the biggest names in reggae to be performing, including Steel Pulse, Morgan Heritage, Midnite, Mikey Dangerous and others.
Readily accessible and open to a broad public, the Montréal International Reggae Festival is among the Greater Montréal region’s diverse multicultural events that local residents and visitors alike are encouraged to take advantage of under the banner of Les Rendez-vous Loto-Québec.
