LAWTON RESIDENT WINS $17,000 PLAYING DIAMOND WHITE 7S SCRATCHER
June 3, 2008
OKLAHOMA CITY – Walter Walker of Lawton won $17,000 on Saturday May 30 playing the Oklahoma Lottery’s Diamond White 7s Scratcher.

Walker purchased his winning ticket at the EZ GO located at the mile 21 marker on the H.E. Bailey Turnpike. He’s been playing the Lottery regularly since its launch.

“I knew instantly that I had won but my friends wouldn’t believe me,” said Walker. “I haven’t made any plans on how I’m going to spend the money because I still can’t believe I won.”

Players must reveal a black “7” to win the prize shown for that symbol. If a white “7” is revealed, the prize shown is doubled.
