WEST SENECA NATIVE "SET FOR LIFE" AFTER CLAIMING INSTANT GAME PRIZE

Schenectady, NY – The New York Lottery today announced Lorri Staufenberger, a 43-year-old West Seneca law office collections specialist, claimed a $5,000 a Week For Life jackpot prize from a Set for Life instant game.
“I’m looking forward to taking a nice vacation in Cancun or Hawaii,” said Staufenberger after claiming the jackpot prize at the New York Lottery’s Western, New York Regional Customer Service Center. Staufenberger, a mother of three children and grandmother of one, told the Lottery she also enjoys boating and plans to trade in the family’s old boat for a new one.
Staufenberger said “Set for Life” means “living in a nice house, owning a nice car and perhaps working at a part-time job instead of a full-time one.” The guaranteed minimum payout on the prize is $5,000.000. She hit the jackpot on the ticket when she matched the number 29 directly above the word “LIFE” with the winning prize number 29 on the ticket.
To win a prize on the ten dollar scratch off ticket, players must match any of their numbers to one of the six winning numbers on the top row of the ticket. If a player reveals a “coin” symbol, they win the prize shown automatically. If a player reveals a “star” symbol, they win ten times the prize shown. And if the prize, as in the case of Staufenberger’s winning ticket, has the word “LIFE” underneath it, the player wins $5,000 a Week for Life.
