ATLANTA – A Savannah woman is having a "blast" after a lottery win. Connie Frye played the instant game Georgia Lottery's Cash Explosion and won $50,000.
"I was so excited," said Frye, a finance company manager.
Shiv Discount Center, located at 44 Abercorn St. in Savannah, sold the lucky ticket. Frye scratched her ticket in the store.
"They were shouting 'congratulations,' " Frye said. "Everybody was happy. It was fun, like a party."
According to Frye, who has one daughter and three grandchildren, she will pay bills and may take a trip to Disney World.
