SUPER FAN WINS WORLD'S FIRST OLYMPIC FIGURE SKATING TICKETS!

Richmond, B.C. – For Olympic figure skaters, it's about skill, determination and hard work, but for Karen Anderlini of Aldergrove, it's all about luck. Anderlini won the first tickets in the world to the figure skating finals (ice dancing) at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games by playing the SportsFunder Gold Medal Figure Skating Instant Win ticket.
"It's really neat to be the first in the world with tickets. I'm a big fan and it's a huge win!" enthused Anderlini, who plans to take her husband with her in 2010. Anderlini, who received the winning ticket as a birthday gift from her friend, was overjoyed when her favourite skater, Victor Kraatz, was introduced as the surprise presenter of the tickets.
"Figure skating enjoys a special place in the hearts of Canadians and our Olympians will be looking to put on a great show on home ice," said Kraatz, a former world champion and three-time Olympian. "It's great the first tickets in the world will go to a local figure skating fan."
Currently, the only way to win tickets to the figure skating finals in 2010 is by playing the SportsFunder Gold Medal Figure Skating Instant Win. In addition to offering 20 pairs of gold medal tickets and $1,000 spending money the $3 ticket also offers top cash prizes of $50,000.
