A LUMP SUM ALL STACKED UP IN DEFIANCE
May 27, 2008
TOLEDO…. A Lucas County resident will have a lump sum of cash to stack up. Robert Sharp of Defiance won a top prize $50,000 a year for the next 20 years after scratching the instant game, Stacks of Cash. He filed a claim in the Toledo regional office Friday afternoon.

Sharp chose the cash option. After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent, he will receive a check for $345,000.

He purchased the winning ticket from Evansport Carryout, 1582 Evansport Road in Defiance. Evansport Carryout receives a $10,000 bonus for selling a winning top prize ticket.
