LUCKY PLAYER CLEANS UP DURING TRIP TO CAR WASH

When Oksana Lapets of Allston went to get her car washed recently, she came away with a lot more than a shiny ride. The Set for Life ticket she bought turned out to be a grand prize winner worth $100,000 a year for life.
Lapets received her first annual check for $100,000 before taxes today at Lottery headquarters in Braintree. She bought the lucky ticket at Auto-Bright Car Wash on Hollis Street in Framingham. The agent will receive a $20,000 commission on the sale.
Set for Life, a $10 instant game, features 25 prizes of $100,000 a year for life and 66 instant prizes of $1 million. Overall, there are more than 27 million winning tickets in the game.
