ST. JOSEPH COUNTY RESIDENT BANKS ON SCRATCH-OFF
May 22, 2008
INDIANAPOLIS – Amarjit Cheema of Granger claimed $50,000 from Lottery Headquarters today after playing Scratch-off game $500,000 Riches.
The St. Joseph County resident owns a few Indian restaurants with his father, including Shalimar located in Broad Ripple.
"Now we can get a start on opening up another restaurant," said Cheema. "Possibly in Lafayette."
Cheema purchased his winning ticket while on the search for a new restaurant location from New Food Plus at 903 Kossuth Street in Lafayette.
"This is great," said Cheema. "It's excellent timing for me!"
