OLYMPIA— Washington’s Lottery players who purchase a Million Dollar Raffle ticket get a rare chance to win some free instant cash. The new On the Spot promotion gives Washingtonians an extra incentive to get their Raffle tickets now before they’re sold out!

To win a chance at $20 instant cash, all a customer has to do is purchase a $20 Raffle ticket. Tickets will be randomly selected to win the $20 instant prize, which customers may take home as cash…or use to improve their odds at winning a million bucks by purchasing a second Raffle ticket. Odds of winning the $20 cash On the Spot are 1:40.

“If you haven’t bought your Million Dollar Raffle ticket yet, now is the time to do it,” said Washington’s Lottery Director Christopher Liu. “Not only may you win $1 million, but you might get a second Raffle ticket on us!”

Tickets for the Million Dollar Raffle went on sale May 4, with each ticket selling for $20. Only 375,000 total tickets will be sold, and three people will win $1 million each. Four people will win $100,000, and 350 will win $1,000! The drawing for all prizes will be held on June 26 or within five days of sell-out, whichever comes first.

Last November, Washington’s Lottery made three Washingtonians instant millionaires in its first ever Raffle game. That limited edition game was so successful, it sold out well before the drawing date. The Raffle game is a customer’s best bet at winning a million bucks, so tickets are likely to sell out again. Odds of winning $1 million are 1 in 125,000, and overall odds of winning any Raffle prize is 1 in 1050.

Tickets are on sale now for $20 each at any Washington’s Lottery retail store location where draw games are sold.
