OKLAHOMA LOTTERY AWARDS FAT BOY® MOTORCYCLE

Oklahoma City – The Oklahoma Lottery awarded its first Harley-Davidson® promotion winner on Saturday, May 17 with a Fat Boy® Harley-Davidson® motorcycle. The winner, a Talihina resident, was selected through a second chance drawing.
Russell Edwards, a 24-year-old firefighter and Asplundh employee, recently returned from fighting wildfires in Tennessee to learn he had won a motorcycle. A first time lottery player, Edwards said he was in shock when he learned his name had been drawn.
“When I arrived back in Oklahoma and my parents told me I won, I thought they were lying,” said Edwards. “This is every guy’s dream.”
When asked if he could handle a Harley, Edwards had no reservations. As a firefighter, he serves as a smoke jumper and is responsible for suppressing forest fires by parachuting to remote locations with supplies.
“I also ride bulls so I think I’ll be able to handle the bike just fine,” he said. “I still can’t believe I won but I’m ready to take my prize on the road!”
